What it does
Siril processes astronomical images through calibration, registered-image stacking and enhancement, with manual and scripted workflows.
Keep calibration, registration, stacking and display enhancement distinct. In Siril 1.4.4, convert supported inputs into FITS/SER sequences before calibration and stacking; available imports depend on the build. Sequence export can apply registration information, crop and normalize, then write FITS, TIFF, SER or supported movie formats. Choose bit depth and colour-profile handling for the receiving application. Preserve a suitable analytical output separately from the display copy; conversion, export and profile choices can carry different information.
