What it does
CasualConc generates keyword-in-context lines, word clusters, collocation analysis and word counts from text collections.
Plain UTF-8 or ASCII text is the recommended input for CasualConc’s Mac corpus tools; PDFs need an embedded text layer. Inspect a term’s concordance before moving to word clusters, collocations or counts. Visualization uses a separate R installation. The developer reports testing with English, so support for other writing systems needs checking. The English page starts at macOS 11.3, while a Japanese notice dated September 17, 2026 warns that the application does not launch on macOS 27. Check that compatibility notice before choosing a Mac build.
