What it does
Sketchpad is a drawing and design tool that combines brushes, text, editable shapes and imported images. Its browser version is free and ad-free, while a paid desktop edition supports offline work. Tile, mirror and calligraphy brushes suit illustrated posters, school projects and decorative graphics.
Combine drawn marks with editable shapes
Drag a vector or raster image into the workspace, then add shapes or text around it. Shape controls adjust their geometry, fill and outline; painting into a shape keeps marks inside its boundary. Text can use colour, gradient or pattern fills and scales by dragging its bounding box.
Check the clipart item’s licence
The information icon on each clipart item opens its licence. Sketch.IO permits merchandise projects but warns that a copyrighted item could enter the library by mistake. Keep the permission details for any asset used in a commercial design.
The FAQ says pressure-sensitive pen input is not supported. Desktop access adds local saving and use without a connection.
