What it does
Skillshare offers classes and learning paths in illustration, design, photography, animation, writing and other creative subjects.
A useful way into Skillshare is to choose the thing you want to make, then look for a class in that discipline. Its catalogue gives illustration, film, crafts and freelance work their own routes, alongside broader learning paths. Follow a path when you want a sequence; a single class can make more sense when one technique is holding up an existing project.
Each class includes a project, so you can follow the demonstration and make your own version rather than only watch. Post work to the Project Gallery to request teacher or member feedback. The membership unlocks the catalogue while it remains active; certificates and badges mark class progress. Match a class or learning path to your experience and the tools you have available.
