What it does
Slickplan combines sitemap building, flow diagrams, content planning and design feedback. It supports shared work on website structure and the material needed before implementation.
In a new sitemap project, choose + Add Pages, then use the plus below the home page to create children. The side plus buttons add siblings, and pages can be dragged into a different position.
The content planner provides a more precise review process than rewriting text in a separate document. Open a page, change Editing to Suggesting at the top right and edit its text. Additions and deletions appear as proposed changes. Use the right-hand panel to accept or reject individual suggestions, or apply that decision to all suggestions together.
A 14-day trial requires no credit card. Afterward, a Free account retains one sitemap with basic functionality, one user and sharing through a web link. Paid plans expand the suite and capacity: Basic allows three active projects, Pro ten, and Team and Agency unlimited projects, with different user and storage allowances.
Strengths
- Navigation, user journeys and page content can be planned in one suite.
- Suggested edits can be accepted or rejected individually or together.
Watch out for
- The free account is limited to one basic sitemap, one user and web-link sharing.
Best for
- Teams coordinating website information architecture and content
