What it does
SlimPay helps businesses collect recurring euro payments through SEPA bank-payment schemes. It combines digital mandates, electronic signatures, payment schedules and failed-payment retries with a dashboard and software interfaces. Live merchant access follows testing and identity checks; commercial terms are arranged with SlimPay.
Enroll the customer, then collect the payment
A customer can sign a mandate through a website checkout or a payment link. SlimPay then uses the mandate for scheduled collections, with tools to retry failed payments. The dashboard tracks subscribers, mandates and transactions.
Its Direct Debit product supports consumer Core mandates and business-to-business mandates. The latter are for transactions between companies and have additional bank-submission steps. The developer FAQ names SEPA Direct Debit Core, SEPA Direct Debit B2B and SEPA Credit Transfer, all in EUR, with payments accepted from the SEPA area.
Moving into live use
SlimPay separates evaluation, pre-production testing and live accounts. The live account is created after pre-production tests are validated and customer/business identity checks are complete. Integration can use the dashboard, a software API or file transfer.
Ask SlimPay about the merchant contract and settlement schedule for the intended collection flow. The free evaluation account is for trying the integration; it is not live payment collection. SlimPay has belonged to the Trustly Group since January 2024.
