What it does

SocialDog provides post preparation, bulk scheduling, keyword listening and account analytics across supported social networks. Its Free plan connects up to two profiles, including at most one X profile, and allows ten scheduled posts per profile.

SocialDog's scheduling and analytics support a recurring editorial cycle: prepare posts, set their publication times and review the response in post and account reports. Keyword listening provides a separate stream of public discussion alongside data about the accounts you manage.

Free allows two profiles, at most one of them on X, with ten scheduled posts per profile. Its Instagram engagement and follower data, X follower data and YouTube engagement data cover two weeks. The paid tiers expand publishing and reporting.

Plan Publishing and reporting scope
Personal 30 scheduled posts and one year of analytics
Professional Three profiles, unlimited scheduled posts, bulk uploads from CSV spreadsheets, keyword monitoring and two years of history
Business Five profiles and five users, approvals, competitor analysis and PowerPoint reports

Paid plans have monthly and annual billing options and a seven-day trial. The registered email address is used for login and notifications. To resend an account verification message, open Account Settings, then Account, and choose Resend Verification Email; use the Verify Email Address link in the message.

Browser and mobile access are available, but the phone apps do not include every desktop feature. That matters if the person preparing posts works mainly on a phone while a colleague handles approvals and reports on a computer.

Strengths

  • Bulk scheduling and account analytics support a recurring publishing review
  • Keyword listening adds context beyond the managed accounts' own posts

Watch out for

  • Free analytics cover only a two-week window for the supported data types
  • Mobile apps do not provide every desktop feature

Best for

  • Publishers who want scheduling, keyword listening and audience reports in one account
