What it does

SocialPilot supports social publishing, client approvals and reporting for agencies and brands. Teams can manage multiple social profiles and share performance information with colleagues or clients. A 14-day trial needs no card, followed by a paid plan for managing your own accounts.

SocialPilot gives agencies separate manager and client approval options. Standard includes manager approval, while Premium adds client approval and branded reports. This matters when a staff editor and an outside client have different parts in signing off a campaign.

Plan Social accounts Included users
Essentials 7 1
Standard 15 3
Premium 25 6
Ultimate 50 Unlimited

Subscriptions have monthly and annual options. Extra profiles and, on eligible plans, extra users cost more. SocialPilot provides a two-week evaluation that does not require payment-card details. Managing your own social accounts afterward requires upgrading to a paid plan; invited teammates work within the owner's subscription.

A content scheduler can edit a post while it is pending approval. After approval, changes require a manager, administrator, owner or client. Owners and administrators can enable draft sharing under Setup > Draft Sharing so colleagues with access to the relevant accounts can collaborate.

SocialPilot's branded client version does not support its Slack integration. An agency that relies on Slack for approvals should account for that restriction before choosing the white-label setup. Enterprise includes API access.

Strengths

  • Client approvals support an agency publishing workflow
  • Multi-profile reporting can be shared with teams and clients

Watch out for

  • Slack integration is unavailable for white-label accounts
  • Account and user additions can add to the selected plan's cost

Best for

  • Agencies coordinating recurring client content approvals
