What it does
SoftPerfect Network Scanner discovers IPv4 and IPv6 devices and retrieves information through WMI, SNMP, HTTP, SSH and PowerShell.
Detect the local adapter’s range or enter the intended IPv4/IPv6 ranges, enable the desired information queries and start the scan. Results appear as device columns and can be filtered or saved as HTML, XML, JSON, CSV or text. SoftPerfect distinguishes Windows queries such as WMI and registry from cross-platform methods such as SNMP and SSH. Many remote queries require authentication, selected per operation or through its Credential Manager. A master password can encrypt the configuration file. Scanning runs from the local device without an external scanning service. The trial has no time limit but displays at most ten devices; a license removes that trial boundary.
