What it does

Strategy Mosaic is a universal semantic layer between data sources and analytical tools. It supplies shared business definitions, relationships and access policies through several query interfaces.

Two dashboards can disagree because they define revenue differently. Strategy Mosaic centralizes business definitions and relationships so reporting tools and AI assistants can use the same model. Studio supports departmental modelling, while models can map to centrally maintained Schema definitions.

Open Strategy data in Tableau

The Tableau Server route requires the Strategy connector, its driver and the relevant Strategy privileges. In a new Tableau workbook, choose Connectors > Strategy One by Strategy, enter the Strategy environment URL and select the authentication method. Sign in with the Strategy user account, choose a project, open a table and add its data to Sheet 1. An alternative in Strategy Library is Data, then the dataset's View in Tableau action, which downloads a connection file.

The Standard commercial package targets 50 to 300 users and includes 150 GB of in-memory capacity; other arrangements are quoted separately. The Mosaic-specific trial lasts 14 days, with access instructions sent by email.

AI connections use the same access boundaries. Mosaic models must be certified before an assistant can reach them through the supported connector, and the user needs the Mosaic connection privilege.

  • Offers self-service and centrally managed modelling paths.
