What it does

Solidgate combines payment collection with routing between connected providers. Online businesses can create hosted payment links, configure processing rules and manage transactions in the Hub dashboard. Pricing is quoted for the merchant's transaction volume and selected products, and team access uses Hub accounts.

Start with a shareable payment link

Create a link in Hub or through the API, enter its payment details and share the resulting URL. Links can collect a merchant-set amount or let the payer enter one. Choose a reusable link or restrict it to one successful payment; failed attempts can still be retried. The usage mode and who sets the amount cannot be changed after creation. Payments appear in the Orders list.

A subscription link uses the product and price identifiers. An invoice link requires the invoice to be finalized and open before the API creates the link. Appearance settings cover branding, colors and fonts.

Set the route for each payment

Configure connected provider accounts, choose a channel and payment method, then add rules and traffic percentages. Each branch can have ordered processing steps and enabled fallbacks. Saving a draft does not put it into use: publishing activates the configuration and its live version.

Administrators invite team members and assign roles in Hub. Commercial terms depend on transaction volume and product mix, so request a quote for the intended setup.

Strengths

  • Payment links can be generated without a website integration
  • Existing providers can remain connected while routing moves gradually

Watch out for

  • A link's usage mode and amount-setting choice are fixed after creation

Best for

  • Online merchants combining hosted collection with several payment providers
