What it does
Sonic Academy publishes electronic-music production courses with subject routes for tools including Ableton Live, Logic Pro and FL Studio.
Choose the production application you actually use before browsing a style or technique. Sonic Academy separates its teaching by software as well as musical interests, helping you avoid a lesson whose controls do not match your setup. It is a focused place to look for electronic-music instruction when a broad creative-course catalogue is too diffuse.
The subscription includes project files; streamed lessons need an internet connection. Included plugin access lasts only for the subscription period, and keeping a plugin requires a separate perpetual license. Check the tutorial software version against your setup before following a walkthrough.
Watch out for
- Subscription videos require an active internet connection; offline course purchases are separate.
