What it does
NetExtender gives Windows and Linux users access to applications, files and network resources behind a SonicWall SSL VPN endpoint.
NetExtender is the client route for an existing SonicWall remote-access deployment. Its Windows and Linux section describes running internal applications, transferring files and mounting network drives. Start with the gateway and configuration supplied by the organization's administrator.
The same page announces that MobileConnect is becoming NetExtender for iOS, macOS, Android and ChromeOS. Follow the package and setup instructions for your platform during that naming transition; the announcement does not make the Windows/Linux package interchangeable with the mobile or Mac client.
