What it does
Sony LIV offers original series, films, Sony television programmes and sports through country-specific subscriptions.
Read the plan's platform row before paying. In India, Mobile Only works in the Android and iOS phone apps and excludes browsers, tablets, casting and televisions. LIV Premium covers the wider device range, while the separate Crunchyroll Fan option carries anime instead of the main Sony LIV entertainment and sports selection.
The current FAQ also limits ad-free viewing on the main plans to LIV Originals, rather than promising every programme is ad-free. Accounts are country-bound, and the location-change help says watching in a new country requires a new membership. Those limits can matter more than the headline picture-quality difference.
Strengths
