What it does
Sophos Endpoint combines endpoint protection and EDR with ransomware, behavior, exploit-prevention and application-risk controls.
Sophos Endpoint combines behavior monitoring and exploit prevention with organizational response controls. Its current FAQ names Sophos Fusion as the management plane and lists Windows, macOS and Linux agents. Application compatibility and exception handling matter when deploying restrictions. Sophos's technical CryptoGuard article describes a Windows minifilter that examines file changes and keeps temporary copies so changes can be reversed when mass encryption is detected, including attacks against a protected file server from a remote machine. That documented component workflow does not establish recovery of every file or replace independent backups.
