What it does
Soundtrap records vocals and instruments and provides a MIDI editor, effects, samples and collaboration tools.
Record vocals or instruments, edit MIDI parts and invite collaborators into a shared browser project. Video/chat and project comments keep discussion alongside the tracks. Export through the project menu or File > Export when the mix is ready.
There is a continuing Free plan, but vocal tuning, automation and WAV/high-quality downloads require specified paid plans. Mixing can take time before export is ready. Compare each participant’s plan before relying on a shared editing feature.
