What it does
The Enblend project includes panorama-seam blending and Enfuse exposure fusion under the GNU GPL.
Enblend and Enfuse solve different parts of a multi-image job. Enblend blends overlapping, already aligned images and uses their alpha channels to identify valid regions and exclusions. Enfuse combines differently exposed images into a result resembling a tone-mapped image. Alignment is a separate step: the project recommends a tool such as Hugin or PanoTools before Enblend. This makes the pair useful inside a prepared command-line workflow, especially when you already have aligned inputs and want control over blending.
