What it does
VirtualDub2 extends VirtualDub's frame-oriented editor with deeper colour, alpha support, H.264 encoding and scripting integrations.
This is a substantial continuation of the VirtualDub workflow, previously called VirtualDub FilterMod. Its project page lists AviSynth and VapourSynth script editing and a wider plugin interface. The displayed project update is from 2020, so treat current compatibility as a separate decision rather than assuming a recent release.
