Cloudflare Speed Test combines throughput with latency, jitter and packet loss, then presents indicators for streaming, gaming and video calls. The readings cover the browser’s connection to the test infrastructure and do not certify the performance of another application’s server. A run can use up to 200 MB. Its data notice says Cloudflare receives the connecting IP address and uses it for city/country and network identification. It truncates received IPv4 addresses to /24 and IPv6 addresses to /48, and shares anonymized measurement information with partners while saying it does not share the IP address with those partners.
