What it does
SpeedOf.Me measures download, upload, latency and jitter and keeps a device history with CSV export; it also offers paid certificates and an API.
SpeedOf.Me transfers sample files sequentially, increasing their size until it obtains a stable reading. The reported figure comes from the largest completed sample, rather than the average of every dip on the live graph. Download, upload, latency and jitter describe the route to its CDN test servers at that time. Results remain in that device’s history and can be exported as CSV without an account. Its optional paid Verified Connection Certificate records a run with a code an employer can check and is valid for thirty days. A test’s data use grows with the connection, so repeated runs can matter on a capped plan.
