What it does
Spek displays audio spectra and is available for GNU/Linux, Windows and macOS.
Open or drop in an audio file to inspect its spectrogram, codec and signal parameters. The native viewer can adjust spectral range, channel, window and palette, then save the image for comparison. A spectrum supports close listening; it does not by itself establish a recording’s provenance or audible quality.
The official download page labels the 0.8.5 Windows and Mac installers beta. Check the package and manual for your system before installing.
