What it does
SplashID Pro 9 stores passwords and private records with categories, tags, sharing and choices for cloud, Wi-Fi or no syncing.
SplashID's categories and record types can organize more than web logins. Its Pro offering also allows a choice between cloud sync, Wi-Fi sync and no sync, which is useful when different households have different storage preferences. The reviewed free plan allows 25 records on one installation and excludes syncing, sharing and automated backups. Those limits make it a small personal trial of the record workflow rather than the same cross-device arrangement as Pro. Decide how records will be shared and backed up before building a large collection.
Strengths
- Structured records with categories and tags
- Several sync arrangements in Pro
Watch out for
- Free plan is limited to 25 records and one installation without sync or sharing
