What it does
Splitkaro records personal spending and shared costs in household, trip, couple and other groups. Its iOS and Android apps include a lasting free plan with unlimited expenses and friends, plus paid analysis and export tools. Creating and maintaining your records uses a Splitkaro account.
Start a household or trip group
Open Groups > Create a group, choose a name and group type, tap Create, then add members. Inside the group, use + > Add an expense. Enter the payment details and divide the amount equally, by shares, by exact amounts or by individual items.
To record repayment, open the group's Balances tab and choose Settle up beside the friend. Pay through your chosen payment method and record the result. Simplify balances reduces the number of repayments while preserving each person's total.

Business setup goes through support. Annual offers are also available in the app. India's UPI payment-sharing and online-order imports from services such as Swiggy and Zomato are India-specific.
Strengths
- Collections keep related bills for one event together, inside or outside a group.
- A deleted group can be restored from its entry in Activity.
Watch out for
- Any participant in an expense can edit or delete it.
- A member with an unsettled group balance cannot be removed.

- Flatmates recording repeated shared payments
- Small teams tracking reimbursements and approvals
