What it does
Tectia SSH Server provides SSH-based file transfer and remote access for enterprise systems, including Linux, Windows, UNIX and z/OS environments.
Tectia combines enterprise SSH server access with client tools for interactive and automated transfers across mixed server environments. Its version 7 sftpg3 documentation uses a profile or host, an authentication broker and local/remote endpoints; the remote host must provide an SSH2 SFTP subsystem. Commands can run interactively or from a batch file. Review the batch and overwrite settings before reusing a job: documented get/put operations can replace existing files, and default error handling may continue after a failed command. The family supports configurable compression and enterprise authentication, including X.509 and smartcards, with a requested trial and commercial licensing.
Strengths
- Supports mixed enterprise platforms
- Documented automated machine-to-machine transfers
