What it does
SSLCOMMERZ combines payment methods such as cards, bKash, Nagad and Rocket with hosted or embedded checkout for Bangladeshi merchants. Its dashboard manages collections, refunds and users. Paid setup and transaction charges apply, and merchants must complete the relevant business enrollment.
Easy Checkout appears within the merchant's store, while Hosted Payment sends the customer to SSLCOMMERZ's payment page. Choose the arrangement that fits the site's purchase journey.
The integration begins by creating a payment session from the merchant's server. Send the amount, an order reference and the required customer details, then present the returned payment page. An Instant Payment Notification, or IPN, reports the result back to the store. The developer must validate both the transaction and amount through the validation API before updating the order. This also covers a customer who pays but loses the connection before returning to the shop.
Basic costs BDT25,500 once and includes basic integration and dashboard access. The published successful-payment rate is 2.5% for standard channels and 3.5% for American Express. Confirm tax treatment and the settlement arrangement in the merchant agreement.
Enrollment depends on the organization. A proprietor's checklist includes a trade license, business bank details, national identity document, tax certificate and Digital Business Identification Number. Companies add incorporation and ownership documents. Facebook merchants, schools and nonprofit organizations have separate checklists, so use the appropriate route rather than preparing a generic set of company papers.
