What it does
Stan streams films, series, documentaries and children's programmes, with Stan Sport available as an additional membership feature.
The core catalogue and Stan Sport are separate buying decisions. Stan's FAQ describes adding Sport to an existing account, while 4K and download access also depend on selected plans. Compare the base plan and add-on together if a live event is the main reason you are joining. Streaming is restricted to Australia; Stan's location-error help also says VPN and custom DNS services prevent access.
Strengths
- The official FAQ explains adding Sport to an existing membership.
Watch out for
- Stan Sport requires an additional paid add-on.
- Streaming is limited to Australia, with VPN and custom DNS access unsupported.
