What it does

Starshipit brings store orders and carrier services into a shipping workflow with labels, tracking and automation rules. Plans differ by shipping-label allowance and permitted rule action types, with warehouse and mobile picking tools available separately.

Set up a shipping rule

In Settings > Rules, add a rule, select its conditions and choose an action. Additional conditions can narrow the orders it matches, such as destination and weight. Save the changes, then inspect a matching order to check the result.

Rules run when orders arrive. Run rules now applies the rules to all orders in the New section, so check that queue before using it on existing orders.

The rule allowance counts unique action types. Several rules that all assign tags use one action type; combining tags, packaging and carrier assignment uses more. This matters when comparing plans for a workflow with several different decisions.

Compare capacity

Plan Labels per month Rule action types
Starter 100 3
Starter Plus 500 3
Professional 1,000 5
Professional Plus 5,000 5
Enterprise 10,000 Unlimited
Enterprise Plus Above 10,000; custom plan Unlimited

The site offers a 30-day trial. Check the selected currency, billing cycle and add-ons in the current quote or checkout. Mobile picking and warehouse-management options are separate considerations.

Team members need account access. User management supports invitations and choosing the accounts and permissions each person receives.

Strengths

  • Rules can combine several order conditions.
  • Existing orders can be processed with Run rules now.
  • Plan comparisons distinguish label volume from rule action types.

Watch out for

  • Running rules manually affects the entire New-order queue.
  • Lower tiers limit the kinds of rule actions available.
  • Mobile picking and warehouse options may add to the subscription.

Best for

  • Online shops shipping through several carrier services
  • Dispatch teams that need repeatable order and packaging rules
