What it does
StockFetcher is a browser-based stock screener built around a text filtering language. You can combine indicator conditions with price, volume, sector and market restrictions, then inspect the resulting stocks. Saved filters, watchlists and CSV downloads support repeatable screening, with capacity depending on the subscription.
StockFetcher makes a screen's rules visible as editable text. Its examples combine an indicator crossing a threshold with price and average-volume restrictions. Start with an example near your question, change one condition at a time, and use Fetch Stocks! to request the matches. The Filter Builder also offers controls for comparisons, sectors, industries and markets.
A saved filter can have a name and an optional category, making a collection easier to revisit. Save as New keeps another version. The results interface includes chart settings, a date offset, a check for an individual symbol and a CSV download. The filtering phrases still need to follow StockFetcher's supported syntax; the plain-English appearance does not mean any sentence will work.
Standard costs USD 8.95 monthly or USD 24.95 quarterly. It provides 100 saved filters, 100 watchlists, 200 symbols per watchlist and CSV exports of up to 200 symbols. Advanced costs USD 16.95 monthly or USD 44.95 quarterly, with 250 filters, 250 watchlists, 1,000 symbols per watchlist and 1,000-symbol exports. It also supports more complex filters. Both subscriptions include all matches and daily saved-filter emails.
Quotes are delayed during market hours by at least 15 minutes for Nasdaq and 20 minutes for NYSE and Amex. That makes the screener more appropriate for researching a shortlist than reacting to a fresh price tick. The downloadable guide explains the indicators, filtering syntax and chart commands.
