What it does
StockSnap offers free high-resolution photographs for personal and commercial projects. Its photos use the CC0 public-domain dedication, allowing copying, editing and reuse without required attribution. An optional account saves favourite photos and enables contributions.
Open an image to see its pixel dimensions, file size and photographer, then choose Free Download. Photo tags lead to related subjects, and Similar Photos provides another way to continue browsing. Categories, All photos and Trending offer broader starting points.
If you want to credit a photographer, the photo page supplies attribution text and a copyable HTML link. Credit is optional under StockSnap’s licence. Paid images promoted by external stock services have separate terms.
CC0 does not let you imply that a pictured person or the photographer endorses your business. For example, a photo can illustrate an article without turning its subject into a customer testimonial.
Strengths
- Photo pages display dimensions and download size
