What it does

StonkJournal records trades, day notes, setups and rules, with filters for reviewing performance and behavior. Manual journaling is free without a trade limit; Pro adds file imports, an AI coach and combined account views.

StonkJournal's dashboard combines trade statistics with setups, day notes and a sortable history. Filters can be stacked across symbol, status, tag, date, market type and rule adherence. A consistent tag lets you inspect the matching notes beside the filtered totals rather than losing the context behind them.

Free accounts can keep unlimited manually entered trades and multiple trading accounts. Pro costs $10 per month and adds Smart Import from broker files, an AI coach and an aggregate view across accounts. The free journal is an ongoing plan with no card requirement, rather than a timed trial.

For Smart Import, download the trade file from your broker, upload it and review the proposed column mapping before confirming. Check the destination account, dates, fees and transaction count. Partial fills, multi-leg options and futures contract multipliers deserve a closer look because they affect how the records represent each trade.

The import is file-based; live broker sync is still on the roadmap. You can continue entering trades manually on the free plan, and account settings provide CSV or Excel exports when you want a separate copy of the journal. A StonkJournal account is required to maintain your saved trading history.
