What it does
Storm Type Foundry publishes retail and custom typefaces. Its catalog includes historic revivals, original display designs, related serif and sans families, variable fonts and script-based browsing.
Storm's catalog ranges from historical revivals such as Baskerville Original to paired serif and sans systems such as Hercules and Jannon. Separate Cyrillic, Greek and variable-font routes help narrow the selection. Baskerville Original's specimen offers language samples and controls for small caps, oldstyle figures, discretionary ligatures and a stylistic set, alongside a downloadable PDF specimen.
Retail downloads arrive as ZIP packages of font files. The desktop agreement counts licensed users and covers finished artwork, while live web text, apps and commercial embedded publications have separate agreements. Some of those embedding agreements renew for the term shown on the order, so the intended output affects more than the initial font price. The foundry also offers custom type and educational discounts on request.
