What it does
Storyblocks provides subscription access to stock footage, images and editing templates, with audio included in its broader plans. Its plans distinguish individual creators, small businesses and larger organisations. A free account offers previews and project folders, while licensed stock downloads require a paid membership.

Agencies, production companies and broadcasters are excluded from Small Business. The Individual licence covers a solo creator’s own client work, but not an employee using files on behalf of an employer.
Before subscribing, use a free account to organise candidates in Folders, share a folder for feedback and download watermarked previews. Storyblocks does not currently offer a free trial membership.
After a subscription ends
Under the Individual licence, stock incorporated into projects completed during a paid term remains licensed. Downloading a file does not reserve it for new projects after cancellation. Broadcast, television and streaming-platform distribution require the appropriate Business scope.

- Individual licensing does not cover an employer’s use
- Raw stock files cannot be shared with clients or colleagues under the Individual licence
