What it does
Storyboarder.ai is a browser based tool that turns a script or a written idea into storyboard images, a shot list and an animatic. You upload a script or describe a concept, and the service generates frames for each shot. Plans are listed on the pricing page, and the site offers a free plan and a demo video.
Functions listed on the site include script upload in PDF, FDX, Fountain, Word and plain text, storyboard image generation with character, location and prop consistency, a 3D camera angle tool, image to video animatics with audio, pitch deck export, and export of shot lists and storyboards as PDF or MP4. Custom art styles and sketch to image are also listed. A demo video, help center, about page, status page and email contact at [email protected] are available. The company states it is a subsidiary of The FilmAI GmbH, Dortmund, Germany.
