What it does
Streak adds customer records and sales pipelines inside Gmail. Teams can see a deal’s stage, shared email history and attached files while working in the inbox. CRM pipelines require a paid plan after the trial; its lasting free tools cover email tracking and mail merge instead.
Gmail stays at the centre
Streak places deal information beside email conversations. The team can share a pipeline, comment on a deal, and collect attachments from related messages. Filters, sorting and grouping help separate opportunities by stage or owner.
Installation starts on a desktop browser through the Chrome, Safari or Edge route. Set up the Streak account there before using the mobile app.
Free email tools versus CRM plans
The free email tools include tracking, snippets and 50 mail-merge sends a day, but no CRM pipelines. Pro+ has a 14-day trial.
| CRM plan | What distinguishes it |
|---|---|
| Pro | Shared pipelines and unlimited contacts and records |
| Pro+ | Automation, integrations and advanced reports |
| Enterprise | Custom roles and data-validation rules |
Paid plans are charged per user, with monthly and annual billing options. Pipeline-specific permissions help decide which colleagues can access shared deals.
Strengths
- Shared email history and attachments sit beside each deal
- Pipeline views can be filtered, sorted and grouped
Watch out for
- The permanent free email tools do not include CRM pipelines
- Initial account setup requires a desktop browser
Best for
- Sales teams that work primarily in Gmail
