What it does
StreamAlive turns chat messages from meetings and live streams into polls, word clouds and other audience activities. Hosts can prepare questions in a presentation or add them during a session, then share the results as people reply. An organizer account is required, and the free plan allows five participants per session.
In My Presentations, add a Power Poll slide and set the question, options and response allowance in Content. Participants answer with a number, letter or full option text. With multiple responses enabled, comma-separated answers count separately; the one-response setting takes only the first.
For an unexpected question, use New Interaction on the live screen, configure the poll and click Go. Share the StreamAlive window as answers arrive. This collects the current discussion's responses without pulling in the earlier chat history.
Session plans
| Plan | Sessions | Main scope |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Unlimited, up to 5 participants each | Standard themes and post-session analytics |
| Starter | 10 per month | Larger audiences, logo removal and chat support |
| Pro | Unlimited | Custom themes, backgrounds and priority support |
| Scale | Unlimited | Company sign-in, account provisioning and enterprise purchasing |
Paid plans bill monthly or annually. Starter rehearsals with fewer than five participants do not use its session allowance. Request the Pro trial after signup: it lasts two sessions or fourteen days, whichever comes first, then returns to Free without a card charge.
Creating your own presentations requires an account. In the Zoom app, sign in by email using the code sent to your inbox.
