What it does
Streamster distributes a live source to multiple destinations and provides desktop, mobile and browser production routes.
Streamster sends one source upload to its cloud service, then distributes the stream to the chosen destinations. Its desktop software, mobile app and external-encoder route let a team choose where to produce the programme and where to control it.
Transcoding happens on the server, where video settings can be adjusted for each destination. A free account is required for the mobile and web apps; the Windows software is described as freemium. Check the selected plan's destination and transcoding allowances before building a show around several outputs.
Strengths
- A single source upload can feed multiple destinations.
