What it does
Strudel brings the TidalCycles pattern approach to JavaScript in an interactive browser environment.
Start with a sound pattern in the browser REPL, run it with Ctrl+Enter and change the code while it plays. Sample banks, rests, nested patterns and cycle tempo shape the result. Stop with Ctrl+period, or use Export to render an audio file.
Sample folders imported through the interface stay local in the browser; other routes can use a local server or hosted URLs. The software is free and open source, but contributed sounds/tracks have separate licences. Check browser/device and offline requirements before a performance.
