What it does

StudioCloud combines client and lead records, scheduling, quotes, invoices and business tasks. Its free Starter is a desktop-only account, while paid services add online capabilities and simultaneous team access.

StudioCloud's free desktop Starter allows one simultaneous login and separate limits of 300 clients, 300 sessions and 300 invoices. Unlimited bookkeeping does not remove those customer and booking limits.

Keep the prospective client, appointment and quoted work connected through the client, scheduling and invoicing tools. Installing StudioCloud on another computer does not add a simultaneous user.

Desktop or shared access

Option Access and scope
Starter One desktop user with record caps
Individual add-ons Online capabilities for a solo user, including forms, booking or reminders
PartnerBoost Two simultaneous users and included online add-ons
EmployeeBoost Three or more simultaneous users, permissions and employee controls

Create Free Account opens Starter registration. The free edition has community support; the paid trial includes vendor support. Paid subscriptions offer monthly or annual billing. Text reminders require message credits, so count communication usage separately from team access.

Strengths

  • Client records can be used alongside appointments, quotes and invoices
  • Offers a limited desktop Starter and separate shared-access options

Watch out for

  • Free Starter is desktop-only with separate client, session and invoice limits
  • Text reminders require message credits; free-account support is community-based

Best for

  • Small appointment-based studios choosing between solo desktop and shared client management
