What it does
Subtitld combines subtitle creation, waveform timing, local transcription and translation routes, and synthetic or recorded dubbing.
Open a video, subtitle file or text/Word transcript, then time lines against the waveform and keep translations alongside the original. Subtitld can export SRT, VTT or TTML subtitles and WAV, FLAC or MP3 dubbing audio, with recorded or synthetic voices.
Choose the engine as well as the task. Whisper.cpp and Vosk are labelled offline, while AssemblyAI is a cloud route; translation models and voice add-ons download separately. Edge and Google online voices are built in. The editor itself has no account or paid tier, but an automated workflow's processing location depends on the selected add-on.
Strengths
- Subtitles and dubbed audio can be prepared within a connected workflow.
