What it does

Subtrack maintains a list of personal subscriptions with custom entries, renewal information and currency conversion. iCloud keeps the list available on iPhone, iPad and Mac, with no separate Subtrack account. The app is free to download; Pro is a one-time purchase for unlimited subscription tracking.

Add a service from the built-in list or create a custom entry, then tag it for the purpose it serves. For example, separate work software from household entertainment. Subtrack can express foreign-currency charges in your chosen default currency, while Siri Shortcuts retrieves dues for a week or month.

To take a copy into a spreadsheet, open Settings > Export as CSV. If devices stop agreeing, first check that iCloud is enabled, then try Settings > Advanced > Force iCloud Sync.

Pro purchase

The US App Store lists Subtrack Pro at US$8.99 and Pro for Family at US$14.99, both one-time purchases. The individual upgrade works on devices using the same Apple account; the family option covers up to six iCloud Family members. Use Restore Purchases when moving Pro to a new device.

Watch out for

  • The current apps require at least iOS 15 or macOS 12.

Best for

  • People reviewing services that renew on different billing cycles
  • Families keeping a subscription list within their Apple devices
