What it does
Superhero offers Australian and US share and ETF trading, with a separate superannuation service. Investing tools include recurring orders and order-history documents. Superhero Super offers diversified, sector, thematic and direct-investment choices under its own product rules.
A Superhero trading account and a Superhero Super account serve different purposes. The trading side handles Australian and US securities; the superannuation side combines prepared investment options with direct shares and ETFs. Compare the relevant product’s rules and costs before moving between them.
Recurring share purchases start from the security itself. Fund the Wallet, find the share in Invest or search, select Buy, then choose Recurring Order. Set the amount and schedule and review the order. These purchases are placed as market orders when the market opens on the scheduled trading day, so the execution price is not fixed when the schedule is created.
Activity contains the order history. On the web, open Activity and then Orders to cancel an order that has not traded. A filled transaction has a PDF trade confirmation under its dropdown. Existing market and limit orders cannot be edited; a change requires cancelling and replacing an unfilled order.
Published investing brokerage starts at A$2 for Australian trades and US$2 for US trades. The comparison page lists a 0.5% currency-conversion fee and no inactivity fee; larger-order and other charges require checking the applicable schedule. These are trading fees, separate from Superhero Super costs.
An account and identity verification are required. Have government-issued identification ready; failed automatic verification can require additional documents.
