What it does
Surplus combines monthly income, expenses and upcoming payments to show remaining spending. It also groups related transactions into collections and provides reports, widgets and Apple Shortcuts actions.
Include upcoming subscriptions and installments when building the month’s view, so the remaining amount reflects more than purchases already recorded. Buckets organize the spending plan, while collections can gather related transactions across different buckets and dates, such as a trip.
Widgets can display leftover spending or upcoming transactions. Shortcuts actions support expense entry and scheduled summaries, giving an alternative to repeatedly opening the same screen. Customizable reports include CSV export. Pro is available through either a one-time purchase or a recurring subscription.
