What it does

Survicate collects feedback through website, app and email surveys and combines it with other sources. Its platform includes targeting, themes, dashboards and integrations for sharing responses.

For a website survey, install Survicate’s tracking code once, then use Configure to choose the pages, trigger and display frequency. Audience sets who can see it through filters such as device, visit history or customer attributes. Several active audiences use an OR rule: matching any one is enough.

In Launch, start the survey immediately or schedule it where your plan allows. A response cap pauses collection automatically. If you later raise that cap, re-enable the survey to resume collecting answers.

Register with a business email address. The 10-day trial includes 25 responses, then the account moves to an ongoing free plan with 25 responses per month and three users. Surveys created during the trial are disabled at that transition; restart them or create new ones. Free accounts cannot export data and can store 1,000 responses across active surveys, with a 300-response limit per survey. Paid subscriptions increase capacity and add features, with allowances varying by plan.

Strengths

  • Reusable audiences can be updated across the surveys that use them.
  • An opened survey can keep answers locally during a lost connection and send them when connectivity returns.

Watch out for

  • The free plan has a monthly response cap and does not allow data export.

Best for

  • Product teams collecting contextual feedback across channels
