What it does
Swello combines social scheduling, shared assets, team roles and post analysis. Registration starts a seven-day trial without a card, followed by a limited free Starter account unless a subscription is chosen.
Check the trial calendar before day seven. Downgrading to Starter prevents scheduled messages beyond its forty-post monthly allowance from publishing and removes statistics. Starter permits one user and five profiles total, with one per supported network except X.
Annual prices exclude VAT:
| Plan | Annual charge | Included capacity |
|---|---|---|
| Medium | EUR 228 | 1 user, 5 profiles |
| Large | EUR 708 | 5 users, 15 profiles |
| Business | EUR 1,188 | Discuss team capacity with Swello |
The shared library stores text, photos, videos and GIFs for reuse from the scheduling area. Folders and tags organise assets; teams can assign folder-level Reader or Editor permissions.
Publishing roles are separate: Writers prepare drafts but cannot validate them, Editors can schedule and amend pending posts, and Readers can inspect without editing. Recurring scheduling repeats an announcement over a chosen period, but currently works only on X. The comments and private-message inbox remains labelled for late 2026.
Strengths
- Folder permissions and tags help teams manage reusable text and media
- Separate Writer and Editor roles distinguish drafting from publication authority
Watch out for
- Recurring scheduling is currently limited to X
- Trial downgrade stops posts beyond the free allowance and removes statistics
Best for
- Communications teams planning social content with shared assets and defined editorial roles
