What it does
Swiss Typefaces sells retail font families and develops exclusive typefaces. Its licences combine desktop, web, app and other media uses, with Personal and Company options. Purchases are made once, and a separate Sharing Extension can cover outside contractors who need the font files.
The central choice is who the licence covers. Personal is for a single user and does not allow sharing the font software. Company is based on the business’s total employee count, with the entry tier covering up to 25 employees. Both use a combined media licence rather than separate desktop and web purchases.
All languages and scripts available for the chosen family are included in its font files. Updates are accessible through the account, and licences have no annual renewal.
For an agency working with a client, the Sharing Extension matters: if the client’s licence includes it, the agency can be covered; otherwise the agency needs its own valid licence. A cart can be shared with the client, or the buyer can name the client as Licensee during purchase. An account manages orders, licences, trial files and updates.
