What it does

Swyftx offers crypto trading and recurring Auto invest orders for eligible adults opening accounts in Australia or New Zealand. Orders can use cash already on the platform or a bank deposit with a reusable reference. Registration and identity checks are required.

Recurring orders and their funding

In Auto invest, choose Create an order, select assets and assign their percentages. A lock control keeps selected allocations fixed while the remaining weights adjust. Name the order, choose its funding method, then review and create it.

Available-balance orders need enough cash when they run. Bank-funded orders process when a deposit arrives with the reusable reference; set that transfer up with the bank after creating the order. New Zealand users put the code alone in Particulars. Next scheduled order shows an estimated window. You can choose the day and frequency, but not an exact processing time.

Trading costs

The regular fee is 0.6% below A$100,000 of trailing 30-day volume. Higher tiers reduce it, with the current rate shown under Account settings, then Trade fees on the web. A crypto swap includes a sell and a buy, each charged separately; at the regular tier Swyftx lists a combined 1.2%. The buy/sell spread is additional and unaffected by the fee tier.

Swyftx charges no fee for AUD bank or PayID deposits, NZD bank transfers, or ordinary AUD/NZD withdrawals. Card routes differ: Australian Banxa deposits can include a spread, and New Zealand card routes have provider charges. Crypto withdrawals incur an asset-specific fee.

Opening an account

Use Sign up, enter residence, name, phone and email, verify the email and create a password. Initial verification blocks all deposits and withdrawals until completed. Australian applicants need two government IDs, or one ID plus proof of address; New Zealand applicants need an ID and proof of address. The registration country fixes the bank deposit and withdrawal currency.

Crypto prices can fall sharply. Auto invest repeats an instruction; it does not protect the amount deposited from loss.

Strengths

  • Separates cash-balance and bank-deposit recurring orders
  • Allocation locks preserve selected asset weights
  • Personal fee tier is visible in account settings

Watch out for

  • An exact recurring processing time cannot be chosen
  • Insufficient cash prevents balance-funded orders
  • Crypto swaps charge both their sell and buy components
  • Accounts are limited by country, age and identity checks

Best for

  • Eligible Australian and New Zealand users managing recurring crypto orders
