What it does
syncX: Stock Sync brings supplier files and feeds into store inventory and product updates. Merchants install it through their Shopify account; manual synchronization has a continuing Free plan, while scheduled updates require paid access.
To refresh quantities without replacing manually maintained Shopify prices, create an Update Feed and open Step 2, Matching Column. Match the product identifier to SKU and Quantity to the supplier's stock column. Remove Price and any other field that should stay under the store team's control. Unmapped fields are left unchanged.
Run Preview Sync before Start process; the preview does not change Shopify. Check the Out of Stock Strategy because an item missing from the supplier file can be set to zero. New products need a separate Add Feed. Upload File feeds run manually, so choose a supported connection such as SFTP or Google Drive if you need scheduled updates.
The Shopify listing offers these monthly starting prices in USD, billed every 30 days. Feed count, product count and selected frequency can raise the total.

Existing installations can retain older pricing. Check Account > Billing for the version attached to your store; moving to the newer structure requires a downgrade to Free followed by a support request. Adding products consumes separate credits, and Expert's included starter credits are a one-time allowance.

- The current Free plan does not schedule automatic updates
- The out-of-stock setting can zero items missing from a feed
