What it does
Taguette organizes qualitative text analysis through document import, highlighted quotations and user-defined tags.
Import one supported PDF, DOCX, TXT, ODT, Markdown or HTML document, highlight passages and apply tags. Taguette can export a codebook, selected quotations, highlighted documents or an entire project; those outputs have different format choices. A whole-project SQLite3 export includes documents, codes and highlights and can be imported into another instance. The local application runs a server viewed in the browser and needs its terminal process left running. Server deployments add collaboration with member permissions.
