What it does
Tailride is invoice and receipt automation software. It scans connected inboxes such as Gmail, Outlook and IMAP accounts to collect incoming invoices. A browser extension collects invoices from vendor portals including Amazon, Meta Ads, Adobe, Notion, Microsoft and ChatGPT. A desktop app for Mac and Windows checks portals on a schedule. AI codes invoices with accounts and tax, and exports go to tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, Google Drive, Google Sheets, OneDrive and DATEV. Paper receipts can be sent through a Telegram or WhatsApp bot. Accounts are free up to 10 invoices per month, and signup works with Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple or email.
Tailride reads structured e-invoice formats including ZUGFeRD, Factur-X, XRechnung in UBL and CII, Peppol BIS UBL, FatturaPA and Facturae. Amounts, tax rates and line items are taken from the XML instead of OCR. XML-only invoices get a readable PDF generated from their data. Bank statement uploads in PDF or CSV support reconciliation to find missing invoices. Users can set rules, for example excluding invoices from a given sender or setting tax rates and due dates. The site lists integrations with QuickBooks, Xero, Business Central, Google Drive, Google Sheets, OneDrive, DATEV, sevDesk, Lexware Office, e-conomic, Odoo, Sage, FreeAgent and Holded. Tailride states it does not act as a Peppol access point.
