What it does
Tailwind combines Pinterest creation, scheduling, keyword research and performance views. An account is required, and new users get a one-time allowance of trial actions without providing a card. Current paid plans cover individual Pinterest accounts; older plans have different allowances.
A batch of Pins needs both publishing times and spacing for repeated links. Add drafts in Pin Scheduler, choose their boards and schedule them for automatic publication. SmartSchedule supplies time slots, while the published view and Insights show what went out and how it performed.
For one Pin going to several boards, select the boards and open Interval. Use Starting to choose the first date and time, set the gap, then click Schedule. Save for Later does not preserve those interval settings. Pin Spacing does a different job: it applies a minimum gap to Pins sharing the same URL across the account, although locked Pins are not moved.
Current monthly or annual subscriptions apply per Pinterest account:
| Product | Included credits each month |
|---|---|
| Pin Scheduling & Creation | 300 |
| Pinterest SEO | 50 |
| Pinterest Engagement | 50 |
| Bundle of all three | 400 |
Scheduling costs one credit. A balance only covers actions within subscribed tools, so buying SEO credits alone does not enable publishing. Included credits expire at the monthly reset; purchased top-ups carry forward. Settings > Tailwind credits shows an itemised usage history. Auto-refill controls are in Settings > Subscription & billing and can create additional charges when enabled.
New accounts receive ten scheduled Pins plus limited creation, keyword and engagement trials. These do not renew. Recurring Free access and Instagram or Facebook scheduling belong to legacy plans.
Strengths
- Board intervals and account-wide URL spacing solve different scheduling needs
- The credit history identifies which features consumed the allowance
Watch out for
- Credits do not grant access to tools outside the subscription
- New-account trial actions are finite rather than a monthly free allowance
Best for
- Businesses planning Pinterest content and the credits needed to produce and publish it
